Tom Roper

Tom Steven Roper, age 46, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley M. and Ethel B. Roper, a brother, Carl S. Roper, and his sister, Jane Roper. Mr. Roper is survived by his two daughters, Riana and Gracia Roper, and his brother, John D. Roper. Mr. Roper was a member of the Alabama Bar Association, having graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, Alabama. IN lieu of flowers, the family has requested that any donations be made to the Tom Roper Memorial Fund at Compass Bank, which has been established to benefit his children, Riana and Gracia.
