Tim Merrell

Tim Merrell, age 57, of Birmingham, passed away July 27, 2010. He was a truck driver for over 30 years and was presently employed with Atlas Transportation. He is preceded in death by his father Fred Merrell, and brothers Tommy and Christopher "Oey" Merrell. Graveside services will be on Friday July 30 at 11am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Thursday. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Merrell, daughter Melinda Merrell, mother Varnia Merrell, sisters Gwen Simmons, Jenny Merrell, Melissia Merrell, Cindy Phillips and Valarie (Terry) McCombs, brothers Phillip (Tina) Merrell, and Brian Merrell, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
