Thomas Conard Burnham

age 85, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Tues., Jan. 21, 2014. Thomas was a Graduate of Mortimer Jordan High School and later graduated from Bessemer Tech. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 23 years of service. He was a hardworking man and always a caring and loving husband to his dear wife.

Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, James Burnham and one nephew, Jackie Burnham.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Frances Adeline McCombs Burnham; nieces, Martha Ann Stevenson and Debbie Brooks (J.); his late nephews wife, Donna Burnham; nephews, Greg Burnham, Mike Burnham (Kristie), and Randy Butler; great nephews, Christopher Duke (Jessie) and Ryan Burnham (Melissa); great-great nephews, Riley Burnham and Shawn Butler; brother-in-law, Leonard B. McCombs (Concetta); sister-in-law, Shelba Brooks.

Funeral service for Thomas will be held at 2PM on Sat., Jan. 25th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12PM until 2PM at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
