Shirley Henderson

Shirley Pitts Henderson of Remlap, AL went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2017. She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church. She retired from State Farm Insurance. She regularly contributed to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home and numerous other organizations. She and her husband always adopted a child for Christmas every year through the Hope House of Oneonta, AL. She is survived by her husband, Terry L. Henderson; sister, Jane Hughey and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 12 PM to 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel at Jefferson Memorial. The burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Bud Jones will be officiating over the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home in Shirley Henderson's name. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
