Senora Rodgers

Senora Manning Rodgers of Tarrant went to be with her Lord on June 19th. Mrs. Rodgers was gifted in many ways; she could repair nearly anything, a talented seamstress and a true seeker of knowledge. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. W.T. Rodgers, her parents, Mary and Roy Manning and her brother, Lee Manning. Mrs. Rodgers was an ordained minister. She leaves three children, Lydia White, Mary Pearce (Tom) and Justin Rodgers (Phyllis). Two brothers, William Manning (Betty) and Thomas Manning (Marsha); she was blessed with four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a dear Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Sammy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will begin at 10:00 AM with Sammy Browning officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
