Roy Tyner

Roy Dale Tyner, age 74, of Birmingham, passed away on February 19, 2011. He was retired from Jefferson County with 33 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville. Dale was a Master Mason and Past Master at Huffman Masonic Lodge #633, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner at Zamora Temple. He was preceded in death by his son Ronald Scott Tyner, brothers John Thomas Tyner and Robert Dean Tyner. Services will be on Tuesday, Feb 22 at 2 pm at First Baptist Church of Trussville with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Buddy Champion officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the Church. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Christine Handley Tyner, sons Randall Lynn (Donna) Tyner, Jeffrey Lee (Colleen) Tyner, sister Loretta Dunn Kelley, brothers Walter Gene, George Willard, William David, Joseph Douglas, grandchildren Crystal, Scott, Jordan, Andrew, Stephen, and Sarah.
