Reedy Bourland

Reedy Meek Bourland, age 95 of Cook Springs, AL died on January 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years, George W. Bourland, parents, Charles H. Meek and Emma Tubb Meek, sisters, Madie Nash and Zelma Sanderson, grandson, Lt. Colonel, Ken Bourland and one great granddaughter. She is survived by her daughter, Dale Jordan (David), son, Dennis Bourland (Adrienne); 4 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson. It was a pleasure and an education to walk in the wood with Reedy. Her knowledge of wildlife and the Woodlands was amazing. Services will be at 2:00 PM, on Monday, January 20, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Matthew Meadow will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
