Oliver Higginbotham

Oliver Woods Higginbotham, age 88, of Bradford, AL passed away on January 14, 2020. He retired as a Tech Sergeant in the US Air Force after 22 years of service. He served in Korea and Vietnam. He was born on October 26, 1931 to Oliver Woods Higginbotham and Ruby Self Higginbotham. Aside from his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil, Robert, Edward, Leon; step-daughter, Deborah Litcherman. Survived by his wife, Dorothy; his son, Craig (Susan) Higginbotham; daughters, Terri Robinson and Toni Doss; step son Calvin (Barbara) Self and step daughters Kay (Terry) Sullens; grandchildren, Taylor, Trent, Shea, Tyler, Jon, Ryan; great grandchildren, Bryant, Caleb, Parker, Cloe; brother, Vernon; sisters, Norma Allison, Mary McCombs, Janice (Bill) Koss, Brenda (Clifton) Wilkerson; and numerous step grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 1pm at Hughes Memorial Baptist Church. A visitation will be held at the Church on Friday from 11-1pm. Burial will follow the service at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
