Hazel Turner

Hazel Turner, 86, of Birmingham, AL passed away on September 9, 2018. She was a member of Cathedral of the Cross Church. She retired from The Association for Retarded Citizens of Jefferson County after many years of service. Hazel was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Ben Turner. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Free (Bob); her three sons, John Turner (Trish), Steve Turner (Janis) and Spencer Turner (Sherry); her brother, Joe Cain (Martha); her twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A funeral for Hazel will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 15th at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation held one hour prior. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial's adjoining gardens.
