Marjorie Moore

Marjorie F. Moore, 90 of Birmingham passed away on October 6, 2010. She was born May 4, 1920 to Bartley and Ethelynn Franklin. Mrs. Moore was a member of Wilson Chapel UMC. A founding member of Bama Campers, a chapter of the National Campers and Hikers Association. She and her husband also created original wooden toys known as JOMAR toys. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph William Moore, Sr. and eldest son, Joseph William Moore Jr. Survivors include her children, Allen Moore (Dean) and Robin Daugherty (Thomas); daughter-in-law, Carolyn Moore; two grandchildren, Jennifer Bender (Max) and Angela Gwin (Rob); two step-grandchildren, Susan Howell (Joe) and Leigh Poff; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9 beginning at 10:00 AM with Graveside services at 11:00 AM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Pastor Joel Farrow officiating.
