Margaret Button

In the early morning hours on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, an angel of the Lord summoned Margaret Penny Button of Clay AL to her eternal home. She married her soul mate, Joe Ray Button on May 5, 1983 and was happily married for 27 years. She was a member of Clayridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel Fred Penny and Mary Ruth Dark Penny. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Ray Button; two sons, Philip Herschel Penny of Clay and Clay Nelson Shealey of Centerpoint; three stepsons, Gary Button of Birmingham, Jeffery Button of Little Rock AR and Kevin Button of VA; three brothers, Thomas Herschel Penny (Gladys) of Morris, Norval Leon Penny (Sarah) of McDonald's Chapel, Philip Earl Penny of Edgewater; one granddaughter, Abby Dawn Button of IN; one niece, Rhonda Light of Morris and nephew, Thomas Jason Penny of Kimberly. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 7 at Clayridge Baptist Church at 10:00 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ron Hudgens officiating and burial to follow in Sunrise Memory Gardens in Pinson.
