Madeline Drummond, 90 years old, beloved mother and friend, an avid Auburn and Atlanta Braves fan, died Sunday morning, July 17, at Heritage Hospice in Marietta, Georgia. She had lived in Marietta for the last 17 years. She was born in Jefferson County Alabama and lived many years in Birmingham, Alabama, and Panama City, Florida. She was preceded in death by father, Arthur Campbell; mother, Mamie Leona Johnson Campbell; sister, Virginia Campbell Hammock; and husbands, Lloyd Sanders, James Cowley, and Max Drummond. She leaves three sons, Gerald T. Sanders (Janice), Marietta, Georgia; Edward M. Sanders (Peggy), Cabot, Arkansas; and James Michael (Mickey) Sanders, Stockbridge, Georgia; six grandchildren - Cara Carrewyn, Chad, Ryan, Kevin, Cheri, and Christopher Sanders; eight great grandchildren - Zoe Carrewyn, Peyton, Amelia, Emma, Chloe, Nathan, Cody, and Avery Sanders. Visitation and services will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery on Wednesday, July 20. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. and services at 10 a.m. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
