Lorene Morris

Mrs. Lorene Morris, 96, of Gardendale passed away on June 2, 2017. Lorene worked in the Tarrant City School System for 20 years, was a member of Plainview Baptist Church of Tarrant, and enjoyed gardening and cooking. Most importantly, Lorene was a kind and caring woman who served her Lord Jesus by serving others all her life. She was a Godly example for all her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Judge H. Morris, six brothers, and one sister. She is survived by two sons, Gary Morris (Jackie) and Wayne Morris (Sandra), 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one brother, Billy Fowler, and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Jefferson Memorials Gardens East in Trussville on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 3:00pm with Reverend Kenn Kington officiating. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
