Lona Massey

Lona Welch Massey, age 92 of Pelham, Alabama went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years Robert James (Jimmy) Massey, her parents, four brothers and one sister. She is survived by one brother Kenneth Welch, her daughters Annie Jo Storie (Bennie), Darlene Dilly (Dennis), Shirley Hall (Johnny) and Diane Stearns. Mrs. Massey (Nanny) had 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren. She was a member of Crestway Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 pm Friday, July 22nd and a chapel service Saturday, July 23rd at 10 am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, Alabama. Funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Jimmy Wilson of Crestway Baptist Church. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
