Lewis Holladay

Lewis "Beatty" Holladay, age 75, of Hueytown, AL passed away on October 27, 2017. He was born on September 25, 1942 in Charleston South Carolina to the late Lewis Clay Holladay & Anna Louise Beatty Holladay. Beatty was a 1962 graduate of Bessemer High School. He was a long-time Mason and Shriner. Beatty was an avid Alabama football fan and a member of North Highlands Baptist Church. Beatty was preceded in death by his step-son, Joseph Kregg Pruitt and his wife, Erika Bell Pruitt and a niece, Kelli Lyn Bland. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Shyrie; step-son, Jeff Pruitt; sister, Diane Jensen (Jim); sister-in-law, Serie Bland (Richard); former daughter-in-law, Pam Pruitt; a niece, Louise Morris and a nephew, Julian Jensen. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Timothy Hall, Angela Brown (Nick), Sarah Pruitt, Benjamin Pruitt (Savannah) and Brittany Pruitt; and his special loves, his three great grandchildren, Breanna Brown, Will Brown and Jerry Oglesby. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. A graveside service will take place at Elmwood Cemetery on Thursday, November 2nd at 11:00 a.m.
