David Wideman, of Montgomery passed away on March 26, 2011. David's love of travel led to a 26 year career with Landmark Tour and Travel. He was a deacon at Huffman Baptist Church and former President of the local Rotary. He was a member of Mensa, he spent the last few years working with St. Jude's adult literacy program. Survivors include his wife, Pam; children, Brad Wideman (Mandy) and Lacie Wideman; step-children, Coleman Smith (Megan) and Beth Patrick (Michael); one sister, Suzi Philpot (Charlie); five grandchildren, Rylie, Abigail, Elena, Lauren and Broderick. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29 beginning at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel Services at 12:00 PM with Tim Lovett officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AID TO THE POOR, 3870 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery AL 36109. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
