James Stewart

On January 18, 1931 James Paul Stewart was born to Agnus Elizabeth Lentz and John Calvin Stewart. He was the second of 6 children. His siblings that have preceded him in death are Jay D. Stewart, Louise Tolbert Hildebrand, Christine Stewart Lahti, and Clyde "Buddy" Stewart. One sister, Bobbie Ann Stewart Hofer, survives Mr. Stewart. Jim was a member of the United States Army, a business owner, a father, a grandfather and a great grandfather. He was married to Martha Ellen Tolbert on July 26, 1951 and this union produced 3 children. His first born is Paula Garzarek, Thomas is married to Mark. Her daughter is Brooke Garzarek Stewart who is married to Steven. Their children are Samuel Steven and Ella Brooke. The middle child is Renee Pugliese Jones who is married to Brian. Her children are Emma Alexandria, Isabella Katherine and Tyler Russell. The third child is James Paul Stewart Jr., known as Jimmy. His son is James Cole. He also leaves behind his beloved dog and companion, Stella. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1 at 10am at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
