Ismael Pagan born into this world on November 14, 1937 and passed into eternal life on July 31, 2010. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Pagan; children, Derek Pagan (Stacy), Vance Pagan, Mitchell Pagan, Angela Bender, George Rittenhouse, Steven Rittenhouse, and Megan Glass (Kevin); brother, Walter Pagan (Gail); sister, Gladys Ortiz; father-in-law, Raymond Vaughan (Ann); 8 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was humbly and generously loved and cherished by many family and friends. He was born and raised in New York City. He served in the US Marine Corps before being honorable discharged. He was an Alumni of New York State College. He retired from Merrill Lynch Pearce, Fenner, and Smith after many years of service from the Sarasota, FL branch. He served as the Deputy Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Council #11215 with many aspects of Our Infant of Prague Catholic Church. He was an avid cook. He loved playing tennis, traveling around the world, reading, gardening, beekeeping and doing charity work. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 5 to 7PM with a Rosary beginning at 7PM at Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church in Trussville, AL. A funeral mass will be on Thursday at 10AM at the church. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Father Bill Lucas officiating. Memorial may be made to Holy Infant of Prague Education Fund. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
