Harold Roberson, age 84, passed away on November 27, 2010 he has been a resident of Birmingham, AL since 1951. He was a long time member of Ruhama Baptist Church and Irondale First Baptist Church. He was retired as superintendent with Stegall and Co. after 36 years of employment. He served in the U.S. Army with Company H 398th Infantry and the 15th Infantry Antitank Company as a squadron leader, in the Central Europe Campaign in Germany and France in WWII. Harold was an avid fisherman, and loved spending time on the Gulf Coast and Alabama football. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Roberson; 2 children, Madonna Busenlehner and Scotty Roberson; 5 grandchildren, Keith Busenlehner, Kelli Wilson, Cecily, Sam, and Shelby Roberson; 4 great grandchildren, Kaylyn, Keison, and Abbie Busenlehner, and Maddox Wilson; brother Euil Roberson of Gadsden; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
