George Stewart

George D. Stewart, Jr. age 82, of Hayden, AL passed away on August 26, 2010. He is a member of First Baptist Church in Hayden, AL. He was retired from Alabama Power and served in the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Holley. He is survived by his wife, Olene Lovvorn Stewart; daughters, Janeth Stewart, Karen Moore (Jerry), and Vicki Sewell (Chris); sons, Gary Stewart (Diane)r and Bruce Stewart; sisters, Margaret Tyndall, Nellie Grace, Carolyn Johnston, and Elizabeth Ryals; brothers, William Stewart and Clarence Stewart; grandchildren, Jill, Jeff, Katie, Holly, Matt, David, Josie, and Nicole. Services will be on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jeremy Powell will be officiating the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Hayden, Project Eternity Missions Fund. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
