George Sargent

George H. Sargent, age 85, of Springville, passed away April 3, 2011. He was a sharpshooter in the US Army, and served at Gospel Assembly Church for 55 years. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Tuesday at Gospel Assembly Church in Springville with a service at 7pm. Graveside services will be on Wednesday April 6, at 10am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Annie L. Sargent, children Danny Sargent, Daryl Sargent, Derendal "Dee" Sargent Yadyasar, Don Sargent, Donna Sargent Watkins, Darick Sargent, and Phillip Sargent, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sister Emma Jean Harkins, and brother Arnold McKay Sargent.
