George "Butch" Cross, 66 of Pinson passed away on July 6, 2010. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel services on Friday at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Butch is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia Fortenberry Cross; two daughters, Karen Tidwell (Adam) and Shelby Smith (Daniel); three sons, Kary Cross, Tony Cross (Kathleen) and Kenneth Dickey (Beth); one sister, Martha Jo Mordecai; 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
