Gary Chastain

Gary Chastain, age 78 of Birmingham, AL. he grew up in the Bear Creek area, when he was a young boy. He was of the Church of Christ Faith. He attended the University of Alabama. He was an avid Alabama Fan. He enjoyed playing golf. He coached baseball and football as a hobby, when his son was younger. He retired from construction and the last eight years of construction, he owned his own company in Tallahassee, FL and then retired to the Birmingham area. When moving to Birmingham he was in the car industry for ten years and then retired for the last fifteen years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy P. Chastain. He is survived by his son, Steve Chastain; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
