Floyd Cagle

Floyd Daniel Cagle was called home on May 25, 2016. He was born on August 4, 1929 to William and Minnie Sanford Cagle. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Evelyn and brothers, Curtis and Odis. He is survived by his wife, Rena of 52 years and daughters, Deborah, Dedra and Dianna; brother, Douglas Cagle (Patsy) and sisters, Evelyn Tockey , Gertrude Rawls and Lenora Robbins (Richard); step-daughters, Gloria Cormany (James) and Janice Meyle and step grandchildren, Karen and Melanie and a number of nieces, nephews , great nieces, great nephews and cousins. He retired from Rhodes Furniture formerly Marks-Fitzgerald in 2006 after many years of service. He was a member of Hillview Baptist Church. Services will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Brother Buddy Gray will be officiating over the services Barry Daniel will be providing the music. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hillview Baptist Church or Hunter Street Baptist Church.
