Eula Aderhold

ADERHOLD, Eula Christine Watkins, age 87 died Saturday, April 2nd. Born in Douglas County, Georgia, Eula and her husband, the late M.N. "Poley" Aderhold, a Norfolk-Southern conductor, moved to Birmingham after WWII. After having made their home in Birmingham's Acipco community as their children grew up, Eula and her husband relocated to Crestwood. For health reasons after the death of her husband, Eula moved to Kirkwood by the River. She is survived by her sister, Tommie Carol Brown of Douglasville, GA; a daughter, Barbara A. Petty (the late Larry B. Petty); and sons Donald (Susan) Aderhold and Douglas (Sharon) Aderhold, of Birmingham; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are to be held at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, GA Thursday,April 7, 2011 at 1:00pm, family will receive friends at 11:00am. Burial will be at Cold Springs Cemetery, Winston, GA. Memorial donations should be made to the First Baptist Church of Irondale or the charity of one's choice.
