Elizabeth Watkins

Watkins, Elizabeth "Betty" P. 67, of Birmingham was called home to be with our Lord on October 29, 2012. She was surrounded by her loving family when she passed. She was retired from AmSouth Bank (Regions) after 23 years of service. A member of Clearview Baptist Church, she belonged to the Faith Sunday School class. She enjoyed shopping, her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as the people she played bingo with at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest B. Pumphrey, her grandparents, Ada Opal Atwell and Clarence D. Youngblood and her nephew, Robert "Robbie" Pumphrey. Her funeral services will be held on November 1, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville at 2:00. Brother Al Choquette and Brother Robbie Weems will be presiding. The viewing will be from 12:00-2:00 with service to follow, burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Watkins (Jackie), Deborah Wallace (Dennis) and Tanya Gagliano (Tony). Her mother, Louise Y. Pumphrey, her brother, Robert Pumphrey (Judi) and her grandchildren, Tiffany Kloepfer (Josh), Elizabeth Pannell (James), Drew Carroll (Leslie), Justin Wallace (Catherine), Victoria Gagliano, Brittany Gagliano, Jessica Gagliano, Michael Gaglino, Samantha Gagliano, Alexandria Gagliano, Thomas Gagliano, and Kimberly Gagliano, her great grandchildren Autumn Jones, Ayden Carroll, Stetson Kloepfer and Ava Rose Gagliano, her niece Lori Bade (Rob) and great nieces, Sutton, Camdyn and Presley Bade. Special thanks to Clearview Baptist Church, Trussville Southside Baptist Church and her daughter's churches for their prayers, love and visitations during her illness.
