Elizabeth Glover

Mrs. Elizabeth (Hot) Carmichael Glover, age 68 of Birmingham, AL passed away on April 28, 2017. She was born January 10, 1949. She attended schools in Anniston, AL and Buffalo, NY then returned to Anniston, AL where she met Douglas K. Glover at Ft. McClellan, AL. Mrs. Glover worked as a restaurant manager for 10 years. She retired and devoted her life to taking care of her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lera Carmichael, her brother George Carmichael and her sister Marcella Carmichael Doss. She is survived by her husband, Douglas K. Glover; children, Rachel Glover Knighton (Arthur), Daphne Glover and Douglas Glover; grandchildren, Brandon Knighton (Bryana), Trenton Knighton, Brooke Knighton and Sydney Jackson; great grandchildren, Julian Knighton and Jace Knighton, sisters Francis Harris (Bobby) and Maryln Bullock (Reuben) of Anniston, AL, Shirley Ragland (Milton) of Talladega, AL; brothers Marvin Carmichael, Tommy Carmichael and Rodney Carmichael (Cassandra) of Buffalo, NY, Curtis Maxwell (Nadine), Ray Carmichael (Shirley) of Anniston, AL, Carl Madison (Caroline) of Columbus, OH; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 12 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
