Elizabeth Collins

Elizabeth Gay Collins, of Trussville, Alabama passed away on August 29, 2017. Elizabeth was a beautician at Gay's Beauty Shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Calvin Collins; parents, Claudie and Pearl Johnson; sisters, Marjorie Johnson, Elaine Wilson, and Carolyn Pridgen. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Molly Perry (Steve) and Melissa Everett (Rick); sons, Greg Collins (Cheryl) and Tyson Collins; sister, Dianna Priest (Glenn); grandchildren, Chad Collins (Laura), Meagan Graves (Clayton), Christian Collins (Taylor), Jake Perry (Emily), Rob Allen (Nancy), Chelsea Chatham (Austin), Josh Allen (Lauren) and Noah Collins; great grandchildren, Elliott Graves, Teagan Collins, William Chatham, Christian Brasher, Preston Brasher and Aubrey Brasher. The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, September 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service for Gay will be held on Saturday, September 2nd at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial's adjoining gardens. Dr. Ryan Whitley is officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please send donations to Sunrise Ridge in Trussville.
