age 96, of Texas city, TX passed away peacefully at his family's home on Monday, February 3rd. Mr. Windom was retired from U.S. Steel American Bridge Division after 37 years of service. He enjoyed staying updated with daily events and Football. He was a devoted husband who cared for his wife until her passing. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 25 years, Helen Powell Windom. Mr. Windom is survived by his daughter, Sandra Martin; son, Martin Windom (Juanita); grandchildren: Jamie Martin Fagan and Jed Martin, Adam Edgar, Naomi, and Luis Windom. "He will be truly missed". A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, February 13th at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10am until time of service. Pastor Jimmy Ray is officiating. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
