Dorothy Hayes

HAYES, DOROTHY ANNE LOVELL, age 74 left this world with the Angel of Death on July 2, 2010. She was a member of Thirty-fifth Avenue Baptist Church since she was 15 years old, and had worked for Cardio Thoracic Surgeons for 14 years. She loved all her family and friends; she was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Proceeded in death by two little angels, father, John Edwin Lovell and mother Sarah Blanche Davis Lovell Fulton. Survivors include her husband, Leonil Anderson Hayes; one son, Steven David Hayes (Ann); one daughter, Julie Susanne Hayes Crane (Chris); five grandchildren, Russell Hayes, Brandi Hayes, Mandi Hayes, Matthew Crane and Jeremy Crane; one sister, Sarah Francis Lovell Shoemaker (Odell) and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be on Tuesday, July 6 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Tommy Roberts officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
