Clifton Couey

Clifton E. Couey, age 87, of Hayden, passed away June 20, 2020. He was a minister, an architect and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church of Warrior. Ed was preceded in death by his parents Clifton Eugene and Lois Couey, sister Caleen Looney, and brother Freddie Couey. Services will be Wednesday at Crossroads Baptist Church at 1pm with visitation from 11am until service time. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Sondra Couey, children Cassondra Carlson Ishani, Velinda Thomas (Jerry), Dana Carlson (Vanessa), Fari Ishani, grandchildren Falicia McLaughlin (Scott), Sheila Jeffreys (Daniel), Shawn Carlson (Chelsey), Zhaleh George (Caleb), Macaylin Crowley (Aaron), Amy Carlson, Shawdie Ishani, Darian Ishani (Morgan), Caden Carlson, Caleb Carlson, Cayla Carlson, Jeremy Thomas, great grandchildren Luke McLaughlin, Taven Carlson, Wyatt McLaughlin, Mackenzie Carlson, Charli Kate Jeffreys, Dawson McLaughlin, Matthew Carlson, Carter George, David Mason Jeffreys and sister Lyn Fredrickson (Gordon).
