Charles Wuerdeman

Charles Wuerdeman, age 86 of Birmingham, AL passed away on April 8, 2011. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was retired from Southern Company Services. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a master gardener and was very active with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Dean. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane Wuerdeman; children, Debbie, Diane, David, and Denise; grandchildren, Joe, Jennifer, Alex, Nikki, Stacy, Ashley, Richie, Matthew, Steven, Jacob, and Jason; great grandchildren, Linnea, Jon, Peyton, Camron, Kira, Ethan, Lexi, Ellis, Caden, and Lily; two sisters and three brothers. Visitation will be on Monday, April 11, 2011 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Pastor Larry Richardson will be officiating over the services.
