Charles Garrett

Charles Milton Garrett, 76, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away June 28, 2011. He was the son of the late Euell A. and Maye Ray Garrett. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Garrett Simpson and brother, James Garrett. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eva Talley Garrett; son Russ (Cindy) Garrett; granddaughter, Lauren Garrett; grandson, Brooks Garrett and sister, Jeanette (Carl) Garrett Brooks, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Springville Road Community Church, the Alabama Unit of the Airstream Club and was owner of Garrett Business Systems until his retirement in 1996. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 10:00am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville, with internment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Rev. Thad Blount officiating.
