Billy Price

Billy Ray Price, age 81, of Pinson, passed away on September 28, 2017. Mr. Price was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and a member of Center Crest Baptist Church, now North Clay Baptist Church. He was retired from Bill Price Construction Company. Mr. Price was a true believer in Christ who enjoyed golfing, fishing, and serving his Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Roy and Aughty Estelle Price; and 3 siblings, James B. Price, William Buryl Price, and Betty Faye Maass. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeannine Amos Price; his children, Karen Price Ballard (Albert E. Ballard, Jr.) and their children, Amanda, Jessica, Ryan, Logan, Rhianna; Scott Price (Beverly Price) and Dawn Alane Price and her children, Paden Prough and Jordan Prough; and 6 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, from 5-7pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 2, at 12pm in the chapel at Jefferson Memorial, with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
