Barbara Foster

Barbara Lejune Foster, age 73 of Moody, was called to her heavenly home Tuesday, July 14th, 2021. She was born to the late Joe Justice and Ruby Williams Justice on June 5th, 1948 in Leeds, AL. She attended Woodlawn High School and later graduated from cosmetology school.

Her greatest joy in life was being a loving mother and caring for her family. She was a wonderful cook, loved to travel, and enjoyed the beauty of nature. Being with family and friends made her happiest. Saturdays were spent cheering for Bama football.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Larry and Ronnie Justice and sister Carolyn Sosebee. She is survived by daughter Shanna and husband Brock Newman of Mapleton Depot, PA, daughter Kisha Foster and fiancé Harry Lane Rawlinson of Odenville, AL, grandchildren Nicholas Newman and girlfriend Hannah Hess of Charleston, SC, and Kelsi Newman of Mapleton Depot, PA. She is also survived by her longtime love and companion Joseph Lloyd Bell and many friends.

Her service will be Monday, July 19th, 2021. Friends may call from 12:00-2:00 PM, with service at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL. Internment following service is at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale, AL.
