Alfrey Mae Harris

age 86 of Cropwell, AL passed away January 30, 2013 at Saint Vincent Saint Clair. She was a member of Overton 1st Baptist in Irondale. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend. She was an inspiration and loved by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Albert Willard Harris, her parents, Jerry Jones & Fannie Poe; step-father, Thomas Poe; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; numerous nieces & nephews. She is survived by her 6 children: John Harris (Sandra), Mary Amberson (Don), Allen Harris (Debbie), Kathy Fuller, David Harris (Lisa), & Linda Harris; 25 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; & 4 great great grandchildren brother, Willie Poe (Ruth); sister-in-law, Pat Jones; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and special cousin, Ruth Washington. Pallbearers will be: Allen Amberson, Damon Fuller, Cris Blaylock, Craig Blaylock, Josh Campbell, & Jeffery Harris. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Jefferson Memorial East in Trussville. Brother James Wallace will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
